Leave only the HITMAN 2 episoses and expansion pass ticked and installed.

Untick all of those legacy episodes from HITMAN 1 and all the DLC items as well. It works fine before the patch, but after the patch it no longer works. In fact, my HITMAN 2 won't even launch with the HITMAN 1 legacy episodes installed as DLCs. What I can tell you is that there is indeed an issue with this, as I also had the same issue.
